IDA WARG Beauty offers a wide range of self-tanning products to help you easily find your favourite. So, let’s go through the differences between the products to make things a little easier! Let’s start with the two categories ✨

Our self-tanning products are divided into two categories, with a few small exceptions. All white-packaged products belong to our "Original Series", where the formula inside the bottle is white. This means the product does not have a color guide, so you won’t see where you’ve applied it - making these products better suited for more experienced self-tanning users. The white self-tanning products develop into a sun-kissed glow on the skin. The result starts to appear after 4 hours and fully develops after 8 hours. Original products are fragrance-free and do not need to be rinsed off. However, to avoid any risk of transfer to clothes or other fabrics, we always recommend rinsing off once the product has reached its maximum result.

The one exception in the Original Series are Self-Tanning Water Mist. Further down, you’ll find information on each product to understand the difference.

The second category is the "Tinted Series". Here, you'll find all products with a tinted formula - a so-called "color guide." This allows you to see exactly where you’ve applied the product. A common misconception about tinted self-tanning products is that the immediate effect is the final result. However, the color in the formula is only cosmetic, giving you an instant sun-kissed glow and making application easier. Like the Original Series, these products still need 8 hours to fully develop. When you shower off the excess color, you remove the color guide, leaving behind your true tan. Tinted products are also fragranced.

But what’s the actual difference between the products?

For the face:

Self-Tanning Face Lotion – Moisturising self-tanning face lotion enriched with Triple Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E. Delivers a beautiful sun-kissed result in 4-8 hours while boosting skin hydration. Uncolored and fragrance-free formula, developed for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Self-Tanning Water Mist – Gives you a light, sunkissed glow in just a few hours. Full results in 12 hours. The mist contains hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and can be used daily as the color builds up the more you apply it. Perfect for touch-ups to maintain your tan a little longer. The mist is also great for use on hands and feet for an even result. The mist has a tropical fruit fragrance.

For the body:

Self-Tanning Mousse – Moisturising self-tanning mousse enriched with Triple Hyaluronic Acid that gives a beautiful sun-kissed result in 4-8 hours. Lightweight and quick-absorbing for effortless application. Uncoloured and fragrance-free formula, developed for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Warm Glow Self-Tanning Mousse - A moisturising self-tanning mousse that delivers a medium to deep warm glow within 4–8 hours. Perfect for those with warm to neutral undertones! Boosted with skin-loving Triple Hyaluronic Acid for extra hydration.
Self-Tanning Body Lotion – Moisturising self-tanning body lotion enriched with Triple Hyaluronic Acid that gives a beautiful sun-kissed result in 4-8 hours, while boosting the skin with hydration. Uncolored and fragrance-free, developed for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Self-Tanning Spray – Moisturising self-tanning spray enriched with Triple Hyaluronic Acid that gives a beautiful sun-kissed result in 4-8 hours. Lightweight and quick-absorbing for effortless application. Clear and fragrance-free formula, developed for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Cocoa Self-Tanning Mousse 1H Express – Our fastest self-tanning mousse with cocoa husks for a natural colour guide and an even result. Customize your perfect tan and rinse off after 1–3 hours depending on desired result. Enriched with Triple Hyaluronic Acid for hydration. With a delicious scent of coconut, vanilla and chocolate.

All products develop fully after 8 hours.

Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before application and moisturise dry areas before applying the product. To make your tan last as long as possible and fade evenly, keep your skin hydrated daily.
